Volunteer Orientation Night
We will be holding a Volunteer Orientation Night for all new and returning volunteers on Saturday, May 2nd from 7pm – 9 pm in preparation for our run of Grease. Members are invited to attend to meet other volunteers and review the roles and responsibilities for the Front of House and Concessions positions. Kayla (Director of Front of House) and Jake (Concessions Manager) will be present to meet you and answer any questions you might have. If you are thinking about volunteering but want to get some more information before you commit, this is a great opportunity to learn from the pros!
What To Expect
Concessions volunteers will be responsible for ensuring the concession booth is stocked, tidy, and ready to go before doors open, and operating the booth before the show and during intermission, including processing cash, debit, and credit transactions. They will also be asked to do a quick tidy at the end of the night to set our next performance up for success.
The Front of House Manager is responsible for ensuring the theatre is clean and set properly for the show, ensuring programs are accessible to the ushers, and checking guests in and answering guest questions. Ushers are responsible for providing guests with programs, directing guests to their seats, and answering guest questions. Both Front of House Managers and Ushers will also be asked to do a quick tidy at the end of the night to set our next performance up for success.
As a thank-you for volunteering, all ushers and managers will get to see the show for FREE at preview night on Thursday May 7, 2026, enjoy a free snack and soft drink from concessions, and receive a digital thank-you on our social media!
