When do you hold auditions?

Auditions take place approximately three to four months before a show opens.  When audition dates are finalized, we post the information on our Facebook pageTwitter and website. Be sure to check the auditions page for more details.

How much are tickets?

General seat tickets in our left, centre and right sections (noted in blue in the above seating map) are $27.00 for adults and $25.00 for seniors/students.

Tickets for seats on a riser (noted in yellow in the above seating map) are $30.00 for adults and $27.00 for seniors/students.

What is your refund policy?

Please note that we do not offer refunds once tickets have been purchased. All ticket sales are final.  HTI will refund your ticket provided 8 hours’ notice is given via email if you are experiencing covid symptoms or are notified that you are to isolate

If you have purchased tickets for the wrong performance date we can exchange your tickets if seats are still available.  If you need to exchange tickets, please call our Box Office at (905) 522-3032 or email info@hamiltontheatre.com.

Are my seats together?

The seats in our left section are odd-numbered and the seats in our right section are even-numbered.

For example, if you have tickets in Row C, Seats 1 & 3 in the Left Riser Section, your seats are beside each other.

Is the theatre available to rent?

Yes, our theatre space is available to rent for performances, concerts, rehearsals, meetings and special events.  For rental inquiries or questions, please contact our Studio Manager at hamiltontheatrerentals@gmail.com or visit the rentals page of our website.
Please note that HTI stages three musicals each year at our Studio Theatre. During these periods we will not be able to take outside rentals as our stage will be set up for performances.  Please refer to our current season page for our show dates.

Are phones or cameras allowed in the theatre during a performance?

The use of cell phones or cameras to record the performance is absolutely prohibited in the theatre.  You will be prompted to turn off all mobile devices at the beginning of the performance.

Where can I park?

Wheelchair-accessible parking spots are available in front of the theatre.  Street Parking is available on MacNab and Mulberry Street. Additional municipal parking lots exist on Cannon Street, Mulberry Street, MacNab Street and York Boulevard. Click here for a map of parking lots located near the theatre.

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Hamilton Theatre Inc is wheelchair accessible. We have 3 accessible parking spots in front of our theatre.  To enter the theatre, a ramp at the side of the theatre will let you directly into our studio theatre.

We can remove chairs from our front rows for our patrons with wheelchairs. There is also a wheelchair-accessible washroom inside the studio theatre.  If you have any mobility issues, please contact our box office at (905) 522-3032 and we will recommend seating for you.

What are the box office hours of operation?

The HTI box office is open 1 hour prior to show performances.  If would like to order tickets, season subscriptions or have questions about our shows, please call 905-522-3032 and leave a message.  Our box office volunteers will contact you as soon as possible.

Are there ticket discounts for groups?

Yes, HTI offers discount tickets to groups of 10 or more.  Get up to 25% off on each ticket.  Contact the Hamilton Theatre Inc. box office at (905) 522-3032 to purchase group tickets.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

At HTI, the show must go on!  We do not cancel our performances because of inclement weather. We will always update our patrons on the status of the theatre and our performances through Facebook and Twitter.

Though we offer a family-friendly environment, not all of our performances may be suitable for children.
